Changelist
- Sapphire tryhard student Candace has been given the Owlcan art treatment. 2 down, something like 30 to go.
- A new hotel NPC, the dominatrix, joins the fray. Art by Owlcan. At the moment she just spanks or feeds you from her baby-bottle-strap-on but for bab testers she also has a scene with Berri!
- A new loading animation by Wishberri to entertain you while your CPU churns away randomising the dungeon region. But the engine doesn't actually allow us to play an animation in parallel with the loading, so instead it starts its animation then reaches a "pause frame", where it waits until the loading is completed, then quickly finishes the animation with a satisfying end.
- More work into balancing combat.
- We've reviewed every NPC's power level and adjusted lots of them so that it properly feels like the difficulty of NPCs vaguely follows the rule Hotel > Mansion > Woods > Dungeon.
- Tripping changes! Instead of each turn, the enemy gaining increased chance of doing a trip attack until they do, it now works as following:
- Every 1 to 3ish turns, the NPC will decide to CONSIDER tripping you next turn.
- If you succeed at an intelligence roll, you'll be warned.
- The next turn, the NPC will then choose whether to actually perform a trip attack, based on RNG.
- Either way, the counter resets and the 1 to 3ish turns counter starts again.
- Magic changes!
- Magic power is now like what level of sorceror you are, it grows over the game and it very rarely decreases.
- Your magic power is essentially your magic energy pool. Using magic depletes it. Some magic spells and effects cost a lot of magic energy and so will only be accessible to players with high magic power.
- Various game effects either partially or fully replenish it, including:
- Lying on the dungeon altar
- Touching the back of the mansion statue
- Masturbating with a magic sex toy
- Spanking the statues in the dungeon hall
- Your magic power no longer has any link to your magic damage. Instead magic damage is purely determined by your magic theme bonus (i.e. how many magic items and tattoos you're wearing), your intelligence, and the effect itself.
- There's no longer a penalty for using two magic spells in quick succession. Instead you're limited by your energy pool.
- You can now choose a 'background' in the benefits menu for 5 points. It's sort of like choosing a class - it gives you minor buffs and nerfs and a special benefit of some kind.
- Game difficulty, instead of deciding how high level NPCs are in general, instead decides how many there tend to be per region and even more importantly how friendly they are when you first meet them - i.e. how long on average until they get turned on / pissed off by your lewd antics. This should help me be able to balance NPC levels and combat difficulty better in the future.
- Reworked the framework for NPCs handling items. There's now more powerful and robust internal systems for us flagging which items an NPC might be able to drop, trade, and what they've taken from you (or from the ground). This should help avoid items getting lost or getting in weird states where they're both in an NPC's inventory and elsewhere in the game universe at the same time.
- Some non-clothing items can be found in the shop.
- Some items have been reduced to only one existing in the game universe rather than several, mostly monster drops. But this is actually probably good for you; if there's no copy of an item available to spawn for you, the game should be giving you an item of jewellery instead.
- Worked on the stealth mechanic.
- As long as you have one item that would at to your 'stealthiness', there is a chance that NPCs will fail to notice you.
- HOWEVER, all worn visible clothing counts towards your stealthiness rating and if it's not sheer and not trivial (e.g. jewellery counts as trival) then normal clothing items subtract 1 from your stealthiness. So that means that you need to have nearly all your non-stealthy-rated non-sheer clothing concealed by your stealthy clothing, otherwise your stealthiness rating will drop below 1 and you'll actually still have a 100% chance of being spotted.
- The boss fight to rescue the princess from the school is now a bit more nuanced.
- If you get her a normal magic wand but not her scepter, she won't defeat the headmistress for you.
- Each time you would be defeated, the princess has a chance to use a spell to heal you, if she doesn't have the cursed glittering wand. This chance goes down each time and the better the heal, the harsher the negative effect that comes with it. She has 4 possible spells and cycles through them in a random order.
- If she has the royal scepter, if you're defeated in a turn when there's 2 enemies in the room, the princess will take care of one of them for you after casting her heal spell.
- Ruby ranked players can now access the hot tub in the school.
- Art for when there's pink smoke around.
- When you become and stop being (most) classes, some text appears to give you an idea of what passive effects that class is providing.
- The doom quest has been made slightly less easy:
- To get a bell you'll need to destroy a robobellboy or obtain the catbell from the dungeon shop (or catgirl class).
- To get a candle you'll need to defeat or trade with a dungeon gladiator.
- Ghost diapers are once again independent from the summoning system - they appear over time like before.
- This doesn't include the diapered ghost lady, who is summoned like a normal NPC, via the mysterious mummy.
- Gave the djinn some love! Big changes.
- It's no longer a choice between pissing him off and getting a good wish, or sucking his cock. Instead, each of the first three times he spots you (and you're able to speak, and you don't look like a porn star) you'll get a wish, and essentially each wish has a good thing and a bad thing, with the idea being that each should overall be a good thing, but barely.
- After that, if you've put no effort into getting him to like you (either gifting him items or letting him spank you) then he will begin to lightly mess with you as usual. Otherwise he'll just follow you around like a normal friendly NPC.
- Rooms with pink smoke now appear pink-tinted on the map.
- There are now several ways to improve your relationship with students.
- Make up lesson: If you choose maximum make up, tryhard and ditzy students who didn't choose maximum make up are impressed with you.
- Roulette lesson: If you give up, your opponent will be relieved with you.
- Plug lesson: If you attempt to take the largest plug available for you to choose, all students will be impressed with you.
- Enema race lesson: If you do NOT volunteer, any innocent student who also did not volunteer will gain respect for you.
- Dodgeball lesson: Any teammates who were also yet to be knocked out when you win will be very happy with you.
- Chess lesson: When you volunteer, everyone in the lesson except your opponent will gain respect for you.
- Caged princess: When you torment the princess using the mechanism on the cell door, any student in the same location will gain respect for you.
- While seeing you with an embarrassing appearance can lower Obedience School classmates' favour with you, it can no longer do the final tick to turn them from friendly into bully.
- Introduced proper tracking for when students are double-diapered or messy after a ruby ranked lesson.
- Pulling off a glued item no longer automatically removes the item upon success, it just removes the glue.
- G-strings now partially conceal the view of your asshole (which takes the outrageousness of your asshole down from 15 to 9, so that's definitely a substantial improvement!)
- Rather than being all over the place and largely inconsistent, clothing in shops now follows a pretty simple algorithm for price, based on what body parts it will protect and conceal and how well, the outrageousness of the item, and any magic enhancements.
- Certain transformation effects would only target the most transformable item, which was decided as the lowest outrage item that you are wearing. However this predictability was at certain times frustrating, and also it meant that some content was only accessible in rare situations. So instead, these transformation effects are now more likely to target lower outrage items, but it's all based on RNG and nothing is guaranteed.
- Full body outfits which cover your legs now give +1 to knee attacks (trousers still don't).
- Diaper pails now show up on the map.
- When an NPC double diapers you, the outer layer will appear cursed (or in the royal guard's case, locked). Becuase otherwise you can just remove the outer layer without penalty.
- Merged the buttons for memorised recipes, spells and skills into one button. The button turns gold when you are ready to learn a new skill.
- Fixed a bug where vines kept going when the player stopped time.
- [TG] Fixed a bug where names didn't immediately become feminine upon transformation into a woman.
- Fixed a bug where if a trap triggering stopped you from moving between rooms, you would no longer sometimes take two turns to move while hindered, until the next time you potentially triggered a pressure pad or trip wire.
- Fixed a bug where hotel patrons were having their combat level reset every time they appeared, when they were supposed to gain a level each time they were defeated in combat.
- Fixed a bug where the game could get stuck in a state where it assumed every urination was a urination-while-messing, which resulted in no NPC reaction flavour and the tiara's quest not activating correctly.
- Fixed a bug where your penis was sometimes referred to as a vagina.
- [Messing] Fixed a bug in the enema race where you would not know whether the opponent racer had messed themselves when they were in front of you, instead of when they were behind you as intended.
- Fixed a bug where the kitsune would cause graphical and disambiguation issues if she wandered into the same room as whoever she was disguised as. Instead, she'll now immediately poof away.
Bab Testers (August 2020 Unlock File):
- If Berri is at the right babification level (pink latex fetish slave) and you walk into the dungeon room when no other NPCs are there (including the dominatrix) then you will get a scene where Berri is hooked up to an evil contraption by the dominatrix. However you must have either messing or watersports enabled.
- You can watch the scene unfold or try and search for a way to rescue her as her situation gets worse and worse.
- If you succeed in freeing her, you gain 3 intelligence!
- If the dominatrix catches you helping (or trying to help) Berri, you'll get punished while Berri's scene continues in the background.
- Changed the team quiz predicament so that it automatically ends when you get four correct in a row.
- Changed the new hand-holding vibrators predicament - you can no longer press into each other while crossing the road - your predicament partner considers it too dangerous. So you have to stand apart, which is quite possibly going to trigger an orgasm if you've been brought to the edge by your nipple vibrators!
- Expanded the vibe photo pose sapphire predicament:
- Instead of having to say "yes" or "no" every single turn, you change stances with "adjust arms".
- The camera now takes multiple photos at regular intervals until you leave or get are successful.
- When you are posing at the correct moment, there's a luck-based chance of you just failing anyway because you didn't pose perfectly enough.
- Each time the camera takes a photo, the predicament becomes harsher in some way - either the photos its taking get higher stakes in some fashion, or a blind is raised on the left wall, exposing you to anyone who walks past on the road outside.
- Some weird changes to try and avoid punishing the player for accidentally putting their clothing back on in the wrong order at the end of the extra credit zone. While in the final room of the extra credit zone:
- You can remove cursed clothing (except headgear) as if it wasn't cursed (it'll steal strength until re-worn)
- You can't put on unidentified clothing (to prevent you manipulating the above rule to identify all or some of your unidentified clothing in exchange for some strength)
- Also, class clothing will now forcefully reappear on you at the end of a predicament. There's no escaping your destiny! Except with the knife in the hotel.
- The only way I could fix a bug with super weird window layout if the player gets an epilogue then chooses "undo" is to force the game to completely refresh the windows after every undo. So there'll be slightly more lag after each "undo". Sorry.
